The Engineering branch of MCJ comprises of two wings. Viz Building and Roads (B & R ) and operation and maintenance cell (O & M Cell) i.e. Water Supply and Sewerage Department. The details of the infrastructure of B & R Branch is as below:

The area falling under MCJ has been divided in four Divisional offices, which are headed by Corporation Engineer (B & R) and 12 Zonal Offices headed by Assistant Engineers (B & R). The B & R Wing of the Corporation is looking after the construction and maintenance of Roads, Streets, Drains, and Corporation building within its limits. Every Zonal officers maintain a complaint register in which day to day complaints of the residents are booked. The city has been divided into the following zones:
